UTC Training
The UTC offers free, two-year certification courses: Dig Safe Training, and Locator Training. The available in-person and online trainings may be found on the UTC's Underground Utilities Damage Prevention Training Portal. There you can register for free courses that teach the foundations of safe practices when working around buried utility lines.

DEPT. OF LABOR & INDUSTRIES (L&I)
Through the Contractor Registration program, L&I offers online training opportunities on varying subjects for the construction industry. Free training offered by L&I may be found on their Contractor Training Events webpage.
The Division of Occupational Safety and Health, within L&I, offers several options to access safety training materials, videos, and training workshops and events. Their available resources may be found on their Safety Training Materials webpages.
COMMON GROUND ALLIANCE
The Common Ground Alliance has developed Excavator Damage Prevention Training videos that are available at no-cost. Their training is comprised of over 40 modules that focus on the knowledge and skills essential for safe excavation.
